Van Kessel expands Greenpoint filling station Veghel with charging station for electric trucks

The Greenpoint filling station at Doornhoek business park in Veghel, Brabant, is being expanded with a large and spacious charging station for electric trucks. Extra-large sidings will soon offer six high-power charging stations for e-trucks.
Doornhoek business park, just southwest of Veghel and a stone’s throw from the A50 motorway, is home to dozens of large companies including Mars and Sligro, which make massive use of trucks for their logistics. To respond to the current trend towards clean energy for truck traffic, Van Kessel is expanding the existing Greenpoint filling station in Veghel with a large charging station for electric trucks. Six 350-kW Kempower charging poles will be realised where e-trucks can charge quickly. To give trucks good access to the charging plaza, the parking spaces will be extra spacious and it will soon be possible to drive in and out ahead.
Last December, Van Kessel also opened a loading bay for electric trucks at De Amert industrial estate in Veghel. Here, e-trucks can use three quick chargers.
Expansion
The charging station for electric trucks on Doornhoek is an expansion of the current Greenpoint Clean Energy Hubs filling station. Several sustainable alternatives will be offered there in addition to all regular fuels, such as AdBlue, HVO, TRAXX Diesel, CNG and LNG.
If everything goes according to plan, e-trucks can come to Doornhoek for charging from the end of April.
