Charging stations in Germany increasingly targeted by cable thieves

The number of thefts of charging cables for electric cars has increased significantly in Germany over the past year, probably mainly to get their hands on copper. German charging station operators report this to news agency dpa. The high price of copper has made the metal more attractive for criminals to steal.
