For as long as I have had my driving licence, which is quite a while, I have been a loyal German brand driver. Over the years, I have occasionally been tempted by some Italian models that have more than lived up to their reputation. Never a dull moment’, incredibly nice cars but, boy, did they spend a lot of hours with breakdowns along the road. I am talking about the 1990s.
