Pavement chests ‘Kerbside collection permitted in 45 per cent of Dutch municipalities’

Electric vehicle drivers are permitted to lay their charging cable across the pavement to charge at home in 154 of the 342 Dutch municipalities. This means that 45 per cent of municipalities allow charging on the pavement in some form. Last year, the figure stood at 92 municipalities, or 26.9 per cent.

Shell Shell is expanding its fast-charging network for Amazon’s electric lorries in Germany

Shell is set to supply charging power for electric heavy goods vehicles within Amazon’s German transport network. To this end, the energy company is opening fast-charging hubs for lorries in Hanover and Kirchheim, with Koblenz set to become the third location. The company announced this in a press release.

Q8 elektric expands its fast-charging network with a new location in Zeewolde

The Q8 electric network has commissioned four new fast-charging points at the Tango petrol station on De Bolwerk in Zeewolde. These consist of two charging points with a capacity of 150 kW. The site forms part of the charging brand’s roll-out across the Netherlands.
