Catom is building a new OK Hooggelegen petrol station near the A2 in Utrecht
Utrecht is set to gain a new petrol station. On Stadsbaan Leidsche Rijn, directly off the A2 motorway and next to the McDonald’s restaurant, Catom is building a new manned petrol station that will feature the OK brand.
OK Hooggelegen, as the new petrol station will be called, is being built between the A2 and the N198, next to the new McDonald’s and a stone’s throw from the ‘Utrecht-Langerak’ junction. Main contractor Antea Group Nederland is building a manned OK station with an OK Shop and several car wash bays. Construction has now begun. All standard fuels will be available at the station, as well as HVO. OK Hooggelegen is set to open its doors at the end of September. OK currently has one petrol station in Utrecht, on Eijkmanlaan.
Following the takeover in July 2025 of BP’s refuelling and charging operations in the Netherlands, Catom is currently converting hundreds of petrol stations to its own OK brand. Around fifty refuelling sites across the country have already been converted to OK.
