Shell petrol station Druten opens revamped petrol shop with Fresco sandwich

After a nearly five-week renovation, Shell petrol station Druten opened a revamped petrol shop this week that includes a bakery under the name Broodje Fresco. The bakery focuses on fresh sandwiches, hot snacks and barista coffee.
Food and drinks can be ordered in the bakery of the Shell petrol station on the Koekoek in Druten, Gelderland, directly at the counter, through a digital order kiosk in the shop and additionally online. Everything in the bakery revolves around the sale of freshly prepared sandwiches and coffee. The initiators especially hope to lure customers with the ‘Dennis sandwich’, created by Dennis Milder of Partyservice Milder. Coffee is prepared on site by a barista, but visitors in a hurry can also go to a coffee machine. Broodje Fresco also has seating and toilets.
Shell Druten has been offering the combination of fuelling and washing for 34 years. In the summer of 2023, the washing facilities in the wash hall were renewed. In addition, visitors will find two wash bays, loading facilities, a tyre pump and a high-speed pump on the premises.
