TotalEnergies petrol station Rietgraaf in Nijmegen renewed to Circle K

TotalEnergies ‘Rietgraaf’ on Stationsstraat in Nijmegen has been upgraded to Circle K following an extensive refurbishment, with the former Bonjour shop transformed into that of the Canadian convenience formula. The refuelling location also has a Circle K Carwash and loading facilities.
TotalEnergies Rietgraaf, a stone’s throw from the ‘Elst’ slip road on the A15 motorway, is considered one of the best-known refuelling locations in the Oosterhout-Nijmegen region. In recent years, the filling station has been renovated in stages into a service station with a range of services, including carwash, wash boxes and trailer rental. Last week, the former Bonjour shop opened its doors as the brand-new Circle K, offering visitors freshly prepared sandwiches, barista coffee, hot and cold snacks, soft drinks, seating, free wifi and toilets.
TotalEnergies Rietgraaf also has its own Circle K Carwash consisting of a wash hall with rollover, several covered wash bays with jet wash and a vacuuming area. Electric vehicles can charge on site at Circle K fast charging facilities. The fuel pumps and canopy will display TotalEnergies’ colours unchanged with the renewal to Circle K.
From the April 2024 takeover of TotalEnergies’ retail operations by Alimentation Couche-Tard/Circle K, a total of some 2,000 petrol station shops in Central Europe will be converted to Circle K, including 250 in the Netherlands. It is expected that by mid-2027, all shops in the Netherlands will be converted to the Canadian convenience brand.
Circle K is part of Alimentation Couche-Tard and is one of the largest independent convenience store operators in the world. With nearly 17,300 shops, the company operates in 29 countries. Some 13,200 of these also offer road fuel.
