BP Express filling station by Divers in Woerden gets hydrogen filling station

Divers’ unmanned BP Express filling station on the Europabaan in Woerden will get a hydrogen filling point. The location should soon allow both cars and trucks to fill up with hydrogen.
Having a hydrogen filling station in Woerden near the busy slip road of the A12 motorway is a long-cherished wish of both BP Divers and Woerden municipality. The entrepreneurs have now drawn up a concrete plan to be assessed by the locality’s municipal council. Woerden municipality has long shown interest in exploring hydrogen as a clean fuel for the future. In addition, the location is ideally located for traffic between Germany and Rotterdam, according to the initiators.
Investment
The realisation of the hydrogen point is a considerable investment, but is seen as an important step in making local and regional transport more sustainable.
The development of hydrogen points is part of the growing infrastructure in the Netherlands, which is among the leaders in Europe with 25 stations.
