Vollenhoven Oil and ABC Energies enter into ‘strategic partnership’

Vollenhoven Oil Technology and ABC Energies are entering into ‘a strategic partnership’. The partnership will lead to the new company Vona, which will bring together wholesale activities in fuels and speciality lubricants from April 2026.
Vona’s focus will be on the automotive, transport, agri, contracting and industrial lubricants sectors focused on metalworking processes. With over two centuries of combined experience, both companies say they want to “take a conscious step together in the rapidly changing energy market”. “With Vona, we combine our knowledge, specialisms and customer networks to really help entrepreneurs in these sectors move forward,” a press release reads.
Despite the close cooperation, the separate identities of both companies will be maintained. Vollenhoven and ABC Energies will continue to operate independently in their own markets: Vollenhoven in the operation of Avia Vollenhoven filling stations and ABC Energies, together with sister company Vidol Lubricant Solutions, as a specialist in lubricants and lubrication solutions in the maritime and industrial sectors. ABC service stations will also continue to operate independently.
Customers can rely on Vona from April to supply bulk homebase fuels, automotive lubricants and industrial lubricants. Personal service and trusted points of contact will also be maintained in the new situation, according to both companies.
