De Haan realises wash boxes at BP petrol stations in Nieuw-Vennep and Volendam
Two BP locations in De Haan Tankstations’ own network will be equipped with wash boxes. Three covered wash bays will be built at the BP in Nieuw-Vennep and four at the BP in Volendam.
The BP petrol station at Venneperweg in Nieuw-Vennep is a service station with a staffed shop according to the Tony’s Coffee & More formula. To serve consumers who like to keep their cars clean, three covered wash bays will be built at the back of the site.
At the BP petrol station on Julianaweg in Volendam, motorists will also soon be able to wash their vehicles themselves. The service station with BP Shop has a washing hall, but no wash bays. This will change, as SRS Reclame Service will realise four covered wash bays. The wash bays at both BP service stations will be largely constructed of steel and glass.
The demand for wash boxes is growing steadily in the Netherlands, while the popularity of automatic rollovers and car washes remains stable. This trend not only reflects a shift in consumers’ car-washing behaviour, but also offers new opportunities for petrol stations looking to diversify their offering.
De Haan Tankstations operates a network of around 180 service stations in the Netherlands. These operate under the Haan, Shell, BP and Esso brand names.
