NXT Mobility opens first fast-charging location on Texel despite power grid tightness

NXT Mobility has expanded its fast-charging network with a new charging location at TotalEnergies De Koog on Texel. The inauguration marks the first fast-charger on the North Holland island.
The NXT Charge location on the Nikadel in De Koog is equipped with a battery-buffered fast charger that enables fast charging of up to 320 kW with a small consumption connection. As a result, the provision of ultra fast charging is no longer hampered by limited power grid capacity. The demand for electric vehicles and charging points is increasing throughout the Netherlands and in several places in North Holland the power grid is full. This is also the case on Texel. With the realisation of the fast-charging station at TotalEnergies De Koog, EV drivers on the island can now fast-charge up to 320 kW, despite the tightness on the power grid. Most charging cards are accepted at the new NXT Charge location.
While charging, customers can visit the manned Great2Go shop at the TotalEnergies filling station for something to eat or drink.
