The future of Drok’s manned De Vrije Pomp petrol station on Ruyghweg in Den Helder, North Holland, is uncertain. The petrol station, which has been owned by the same family for almost 70 years, has been struggling with uncertainty about the ground lease for some time. Whether the filling station will be taken over by a new party next December, as planned, is also not yet certain.
