Lukoil sells international business, future of filling stations still unclear
Oil company Lukoil is selling its international operations to Gunvor Group, following new sanctions against Russia. Those sanctions, also backed by the US, require foreign companies to cut their ties with Russian oil producers. The sale raises questions about the future of Lukoil gas stations in Belgium and the Netherlands.
