Roermond court pronounces bankruptcy of Smarter Nozzle
The court in Roermond has declared bankruptcy on Smarter Nozzle Europe BV and Smarter Nozzle Production BV. This was reported by various Limburg media on Wednesday.
Both technology companies are based in Venray. Director Pascal van Nisselroy’s companies worked on the development of the iNozzle One, a filling gun with built-in display that was supposed to make refuelling more attractive. It filed for bankruptcy at its own request. The iNozzle One was intended to be an innovative platform for digital communication at petrol stations. While refuelling, consumers could view advertising and information via the screen. The iNozzle One was grandly presented by Smarter Nozzle in 2018 at the Tankstation & Carwash Vakbeurs organised by ProMedia in Expo Houten.
The company employed three people. What happens now with the installed iNozzle systems and the employees is not yet known.
