OK parent Catom sees fuel sales fall, shop sales rise sharply

Catom, dat begin juli driehonderd tankstations van BP in Nederland overnam en moederbedrijf van tankstationformule OK, verkocht in 2024 ruim 10 procent minder brandstof en smeermiddelen dan het jaar ervoor. Dit cijfer werd ruimschoots gecompenseerd met de verkoop van shopartikelen dat groeide met meer dan 50 procent.
Ondanks de dalende brandstofverkopen zag Catom afgelopen jaar de shopverkopen, zoals hier in de OK Café in Diemen, fors toenemen.

Catom, which took over three hundred petrol stations from BP in the Netherlands in early July and is parent company of petrol station formula OK, sold less fuel and lubricants in 2024 than in the previous year. On the other hand, turnover from shop articles rose by more than 50 per cent.
