Entrepreneur Johan Kok and TinQ Netherlands open gas station and QCarwash with ten wash boxes

Entrepreneur Johan Kok and TinQ Netherlands officially opened a new TinQ filling station at Zuiderbreedte in Harderwijk on Friday 18 July. At the same time, the Netherlands’ first QCarwash, a car wash location with ten wash boxes, opened at the same location.
With the opening of the TinQ in Harderwijk, Enviem’s formula in the Netherlands has officially reached the milestone of four hundred filling stations. Located a stone’s throw from the ‘Ermelo’ slip road of the A28 motorway, the location offers motorists the opportunity to fill up with Euro 95, Euro 98 and diesel. Entrepreneur Johan Kok’s Kok Group Harderwijk developed the site in cooperation with TinQ Netherlands. Payment units enable 24/7 refuelling at the site.
Next to the filling station, QCarwash, the first of this formula developed by Kok in the Netherlands, was opened at the same time. The self-service wash location consists of ten wash units, one of which is especially suitable for motorhomes and caravans. According to Kok, the ten units minimise the risk of queues. There are also seven hoovers for cleaning vehicle interiors. The wash bays are open daily from 06:00 to 24:00. For extra benefits, a wash pass is available at the location.
400 filling stations
TinQ, part of multy brand company Enviem, has a network of more than 400 filling stations in the Netherlands, the vast majority unmanned. This makes it the largest unmanned filling station formula in the Netherlands. The formula is also gaining ground in Belgium and Germany. In Belgium, the formula has around 25 refuelling locations.
