Tanqplus takes over Esso gas station operation in Culemborg and opens Kwajongens shop there
Naaldwijk-based Tanqplus has taken over the operation of Esso filling station ‘Crum’ on Wethouder Schoutenweg in Culemborg. With the takeover, the ‘Fresh Sandwiches & More’ at the location has been upgraded to Kwajongens, the shop formula developed in-house by Tanqplus.
The Kwajongens shop in Culemborg officially opened in early July after a major renovation. Both the exterior and the interior have been renewed. According to Tanqplus, the tank shop has been given ‘a fresh assortment’ and the shop’s employees have joined in the new formula.
With the expansion of the filling station location in Culemborg, the number of Kwajongens branches at filling stations in the Netherlands has come to four. The other three are at the Argos in Zutphen, the BP in Ede and at the Shell at the Nijverheidsweg in Etten-Leur. For Tanqplus, the expansion means that the Naaldwijk-based company has come to a network of 22 filling stations. The opening of the new branch will be celebrated with promotions and combo deals from 14 to 20 July.
Shop formula Kwajongens was developed by Tanqplus in 2022. The company is owned by Kelly van Rijn-van Tol and Michel Iesberts.
