‘BEV market share still far from desired level’

Hybride auto’s blijven aan populariteit winnen en zijn momenteel het populairst onder kopers van nieuwe auto’s.

The market share of battery-electric cars in the European Union up to May 2025 was 15.4 per cent, still far below the desired level. This was reported by the European automotive trade association Acea in a press release. Hybrid cars continue to gain in popularity and are currently the most popular among new car buyers.
