‘Oil and gas sector drifting further away from climate targets’

The climate ambitions of major oil and gas companies such as Shell, BP, ExxonMobil and TotalEnergies are deteriorating, says think tank Carbon Tracker. As a result, the future plans of major players in the sector are now even less in line with the Paris Climate Agreement than before, the non-profit organisation concludes in an analysis.
