EV drivers unwittingly pay 5 per cent too much due to hidden surcharges at public charging stations

Electric drivers in the Netherlands are unwittingly paying too much at public charging stations. Research by Tap Electric and LaadpasTop10 shows that an unnoticed surcharge of 2 cents per kWh is being charged, without the knowledge of operators (CPOs), municipalities or users. This increase was introduced by DKV Mobility subsidiary Greenflux, which provides the software for public charging stations.
