Germany will not extend excise duty rebate on fuel: ‘Financially unsound’

Germany’s temporary excise duty rebate expires on 30 June and will not be extended. This was agreed upon by the governing parties CDU/CSU and SPD. There are also currently no plans within the federal government to continue the measure. This is what several German media write.
