Failed payment at petrol station does not lead to collection costs, judge rules

A motorist who unknowingly drove away from a petrol station after a failed debit card payment did not have to pay collection and additional costs. This was ruled by the subdistrict court judge of the Overijssel District Court. According to the judge, there was no theft or other wrongful act.
