Cabinet: road tax EVs to 70 per cent, additional levy on fuel-lease cars

Owners of electric cars will pay 70 per cent motor vehicle tax next year, based on the weight of the car. This is 5 percentage points lower than previously agreed. This is according to Minister Sophie Hermans’ approved climate plans in the council of ministers.
