BYD claims breakthrough: EV battery charges 400 kilometres in five minutes

De nieuwe laadsnelheid van BYD is bijna drie keer hoger dan die van Tesla’s Supercharger-netwerk.

BYD has presented a battery pack and charging system that allows an electric car to charge up to 400 kilometres of driving range within five minutes. Bloomberg news agency reports. The system will be introduced in the Chinese market in April in the Han L and Tang L, two high-end models.
