Registration opened for Mobility Energy Expo 2025 in Jaarbeurs Utrecht

Registration for the Mobility Energy Expo is open. The gathering of professionals from the world of fuelling, charging, carwash, retail and mobility will take place on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 November at the Jaarbeurs Utrecht.
The Mobility Energy Expo is an important trade event for the filling station industry in the Netherlands and Belgium. The focus is on refuelling, charging, alternative fuels, shops and carwash. On the exhibition floor, visitors will be taken through the latest developments, innovations and services that are shaping the industry.
Substantive programme in two theatres
Apart from the exhibitors, the event also offers a substantive programme divided into two theatres. The Mobility Energy Theatre will focus on the mobility side. Here, presentations and panel discussions will take place on topics including refuelling, including alternative fuels, carwash, shop and retail concepts, marketing strategies and loyalty programmes. During one of the sessions, Jacobjan Vermeiden (MAN), Stephan Bredewold (Fountain Fuel) and Robert Goevaers (Platform Groen Gas) will discuss the role of hydrogen in mobility.
In the Energy Theatre, organised in cooperation with Fleet Expo, the focus is entirely on the energy transition. Topics such as charging and charging infrastructure, smart charging and energy management, business electric driving, fleet management and current developments in policy, subsidies and regulations will be covered. Speakers include Wilco de Wit (Stedin), who talks about The transition to a zero emission vehicle fleet at Stedin, and Erik Hoffland (SunCatch Solarsystems B.V.), who addresses grid congestion at petrol stations.
Mobility Energy Congress
On the morning of Thursday 13 November, the first edition of the Mobility Energy Congress will also take place. This congress is aimed at entrepreneurs, policymakers and other professionals within the sector and addresses the mobility transition towards 2035. That is the year when a European ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars will come into force.
Short and informative sessions will take visitors through the trade-offs involved. Key questions include: Does it make sense to set up a charging station at my location? Because if you choose to have a manned loading bay, you often also choose a shop, but how do you make it profitable without tobacco? Is remaining independent realistic, or is growing or selling inevitable?
The Mobility Energy Expo 2025 will take place on 12 and 13 November at the Jaarbeurs Utrecht. You can register via the event website. Separate registration is required for the conference.
