TotalEnergies and Velian are set to install thousands of charging points in South Holland and Zeeland

TotalEnergies and Velian have been awarded the contract to install thousands of new public charging points over the coming years in 43 municipalities in South Holland and Zeeland.

The number of fully electric passenger cars in the Netherlands rose to 789,571 last September. This represents an increase of almost 2.5 per cent compared with August 2026, when there were 770,453 so-called ‘fully electric’ cars on the roads in the Netherlands.
